This quote by Mahatma Gandhi is probably the best representation of self-discovery through selfless dedication in helping others. And that’s what Philanthropy means to me. It is an ask from within to improve the wellbeing of the society and to help those in need to eliminate their problems and fill the gaps in their life. In my family, we've always been motivated to give, and to help someone become self-sufficient. Eksoch Foundation was an outcome of this ideology and today it has grown and evolved beautifully into a means of social change by itself.

At Eksoch Foundation, we focus on community-based social entrepreneurship, enabled by technology, and create affordable, scalable solutions addressing various challenges. We're working towards creating an effective ecosystem that allows networking, sharing, and collaborating with other catalysts to impact the community positively.

The Eastern UP center of Eksoch is promoting social entrepreneurship, and the sectors we're concentrating on are Health, Agriculture, Livelihood (micro-entrepreneurship). We are working with local artisans providing them with the requisite hands-on training, exposure, and marketing support to help grow their business. Another initiative we undertook was that of creating ecosystem partners and incubation for non-profit organizations to build their capacities and entrepreneurial mindset which was started by IIT - Benaras Hindu University.

In October 2019, we started an Agri Initiative. The initiative aimed to help marginalised small farmers with small landholding. The foundation gave the farmers training on natural farming and how to improve the health of the soil. We also worked towards bridging the gender gap in farming and brought many women farmers under the formal guidance of the foundation.

In the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the team at Eksoch in association with Spice Money has been working relentlessly for the rural vaccination registration initiative, COVREG. It is a change-maker initiative wherein we have created a group of passionate individuals to come forward and help in getting rural people mobilized and registered for vaccination.

While Eksoch Foundation continues to grow and launch many more initiatives, I feel a great sense of satisfaction seeing the impact we're making. At the same time, I know we have a lot more to achieve. I hope we get to partner with more people who believe in our causes and make a greater impact to the society.
